My Mother
I recently mentioned my mother’s health, she is being taken care of. What is so awesome is that she talks like nothing is going on, she just says that time will tell if the treatment goes well or not and then she just shrugs it off. Any way, this Saturday (12-13-08), was her 86th birthday, thanks God for keeping her in such good shape and great disposition. I thank my brothers because all of them are always on top of things, whatever my parents need, the three of them (David, Jose and Juan) are ready to help, but I like to emphasize that my brother Jose, is the one that has dedicated the last few years to watch over my parents on a continuous basis, day in and day out, he is with them. The only exception is when he goes to mass and when goes out biking, he usually does not stay away more than an hour or so. He was a member of group of monastic brothers helping the poor in northern Mexico, then he decided to go back to Costa Rica at about the same time that my parents needed to be taken care of to the extend that is necessary. God Bless his soul, he has already earned a place in haven.
My mother and father, married now for 63 years, God Bless them.

Quien puede olvidar los helados de natilla o las rosquitas de natilla de mi Tia Emma y mi Tio Porfirio siempre fue muy bueno conmigo y me encantaba andar en su jeep. Siempre los recuerdo con mucho carino.
